The post will be more information about affiliate marketing. This post will be kicking off several posts on affiliate marketing here on my blog – what it is and what it can do for your home business. If you aren’t familiar with the affiliate marketing business model I’ll explain a bit now. You find a product or service you want to recommend to others that offers an affiliate program. You, as the affiliate, sign up and earn a portion of the sale should someone buy the product or service on your link. You sign up with the merchant (company or person selling the product) and are issued a special link coded to track statistics. Then you write a recommendation, post a banner or put the link in your signature. That’s a simplified explanation and what it is in a nutshell. You’ll learn a whole lot more when the girls get here!
