I know about the whole “setting up your goals for the new year before the new year comes” thing, but the fact is, I’m just too lazy. Anyhow, me and Julie Anna got together for dinner a few evenings ago and we had a business meeting after dinner. (by the way, no matter how small you are in the internet business world, it is vital that you get into a room, close the door, and lay out what your plans are every few weeks or months, depending on how active you are in what you do.)
What I got from the business meeting is that 2009 will be a learning year for us here at FBI. We hope to bring you along side as we journey and grow.
We talked about some things we haven’t quite grasped the concept in doing yet. The first response is to just look at the white board and feel overwhelmed. Enough of that! Take a deep breath and focus on one new 
thing. It is important that you try out different strategies online eventually. These are some ideas, try listing a few things on eBay, add to your selling hard goods by including new venues like Amazon or ABE books, start a blog and perhaps add some AdSense buttons on the side bar, maybe this is the year you will get your website up and running.
It’s the idea of “taking action” that is the goal here. Take one thing that may seem overwhelming and focus on that next week. Make it a priority to do five things pertaining to that goal each day. They have to be actions steps. No more *learning*! You will learn as you do. That’s what we have finally learned over here!
